Silverado Midnight Edition
Each year, special editions of vehicles come out to give drivers some more unique vehicle options. They typically take an already impressive vehicle and tweak it slightly to create a new and exciting model. Recently Chevy announced the Silverado Midnight Edition. Fans of the Chevy Silverado will be very interested in this new edition. It has a few added features and some new styling details.
The first major difference, as you could probably guess, is that the whole vehicle is decked out in black. It has an all-black front end with body-coloured grille, bumper, headlamp bezels, tow hooks and fog lamps, as well as black side mouldings and beltline moldings. It even has black Chevrolet bowties on the front and rear. All of these added black features creates a sleek and stylish spin on the Silverado.
The Midnight special editions also includes:
- 18-inch black painted alloy wheels
- Aggressive Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires
- A black spray-in bedliner
- Rancho Monotube Shocks
- Hill Descent Controls
- Trailering packages
- Rear park assist

All of these added features make the Silverado Midnight special edition even more durable and dependable, especially when it comes to conquering Canada’s worst conditions. The DuraTrac tires are practical and useful because they meet the most severe snow service standards. Chevy will be offering the Midnight special edition in either the 1500 double-cab or crew cab models. There will be a limited number produced, but they can be ordered starting in February 2015.
