Best Spots for Fireworks in DFW This 4th of July!

There are plenty of things to do in DFW this Independence Day, but one of the most iconic activities is the fireworks display. Every fireworks display is designed to impress, and also remind us of our nation’s fight for Independence. Check out our top picks for July 4th Weekend 2017 fireworks displays around Dallas TX. To narrow things down for you, we decided to only look at events happening on the 3rd  or 4th of July.

July 3 Fireworks and Festivals

Addison Kaboom Town – Addison Circle Park

The fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at this festival are far from the only thing going on. Gates open at 4 p.m., and visitors can enjoy concessions, games, rides, and an airshow at 7:15 p.m.

Star Spangled Spectacular – Firewheel Town Center

Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. for the Star Spangles Spectacular, proceeded by face-painting, bounce houses, live music, games, prizes and giveaways starting at 4 p.m.

Light Up Arlington – Downtown Arlington

Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m., with Kids Zones, train rides, food trucks and carnival concessions creating a party atmosphere starting at 6 p.m. Entrance is free, though some activities require a fee. Picnics and coolers are welcome.

Red, White and Boom on the Bridge – Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge

We’re not sure when the fireworks go off, but food, music, and activities for children will be available from 6 p.m. The Westbound Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge will be closed to cars so that walkers can have a better view of the fireworks.

Southlake Stars and Stripes – Southlake Town Square

Fireworks start around 9:30 p.m. (after dark). Kid Zones, parking, and entrance are free, with food available to purchase.

4th of July Fireworks Displays

Red, White and Boom – Downtown McKinney

Fireworks for this event will be at 9:45 p.m. at Craig Ranch, with plenty of live entertainment and family-friendly activities like a parade, classic car show, and block party starting at 10 a.m.

Plano’s All American Fourth Fireworks – Amphitheater at Oak Point Park

A stupendous fireworks show will start at 9:30 p.m. and be synchronized to music from the radio. Food truck dining and pre-music will be available from 5 p.m.

Frisco Freedom Fest – Frisco Square

Fireworks at 10 p.m. will be proceeded starting at 4 p.m. with a Children’s Expo, live music, Taste of Frisco, and much more. Other events will happen the day before on July 3.
