“With the all-new Silverado, we’ve taken the best truck on the road and made it even better. Passenger and Cargo Volume Specs

The 2019 Chevy Silverado’s truck bed floor has been extended offering even more hauling potential than ever before. For the short bed configuration, car shoppers can expect to see the truck bed stretched by about seven inches which creates 63 cubic feet of volume for storage. A new cargo bed storage accessory will also be available for purchase that adds 7 cubic feet of lockable storage space over the wheel wells.

The 2019 Silverado is also being stretched on the inside. For Crew Cab models, car shoppers can expect to see an extra 3 inches of rear legroom bringing the total rear legroom to a class-leading 43.8 inches and the front legroom to 44.5 inches. More information on additional passenger and cargo volume specs by trim level should be available soon on the 2019 Chevy Silverado website.

Fans of the 2019 Chevy Silverado will have to wait until late 2018 for its release. Until then, keep following the Chris Auffenberg blog for more info on the new model as it becomes available.
