UK Self-Driving Cars
The UK has officially sanctioned self-driving cars on public roadways. The decision goes into effect in January 2015. As if there needed to be yet another reminder of just how far auto technology has come, within five months automated vehicles without the benefit (or hindrance depending on how one looks at it) of a driver will be able to cruise around various test cities and communities around Britain. While the measure is in place, it may be a little while before the passing of this implementation becomes practical. (more…)
