July 4th Events Seattle 2014

Come see how much spirit the city of Seattle has this Fourth of July.  With dozens of locations and celebrations to attend, it can be difficult to decide which events to attend.  But at Seattle Metro Used Cars, we have you covered.  We have been looking forward to the July Fourth weekend for a long time.  Here is a list of the July 4th events happening in Seattle this 2014 Independence Day.

Seafair Summer 4th at Lake Union: Gas works Park- July 4, 12 PM-11 PM

One of the best locations in the city to check out the night’s fireworks is also one of best locations to be at during the day.  With live bands and beer gardens, along with playfields and trivia, there is something for everyone.  Better arrive early–there is a finite number of park spaces.  Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

Kent’s Fourth of July Splash: Lake Meridian Park- July 4, 12 PM-11 PM

The city of Kent is throwing a big birthday bash for America.  Family fun during the day includes live music atcs, games, wooden boat building, bounce houses, food vendors, and pie-eating contests.  And once the sun goes down, watch the outstanding pyrotechnic display.  Admission is free.  Driver over to Kent and take a free shuttle from the fire station, Kentwood High School, and Meridian Elementary.

Tacoma Freedom Fair: Ruston Way Waterfront- July 4, 10 AM-10:30 PM

Head on over to Tacoma for an event that has a history that extends back farther than 30 years.  Featuring an air show, crafts and goods vendors, food booths as well as rides, this is certain to be a hit with the young and old.  When the suns sets and the sky darkens, watch the fireworks show that is being hyped as the largest display in the northwest.  The best way to arrive and depart the Tacoma Freedom Fair is to utilize the shuttle from the Tacoma Dome Station or the TCC Park and Ride.
