We love of Emerald City.  With a vibrancy and a vitality that is unmatched, an eclectic blend of cultures, and a passion for fun, there is never a shortage of exciting events going on in our own backyard.  This upcoming weekend proves to be another busy one, with an event calendar chock full of unique outings that remind us how fortunate we are to live in a city that fosters such energy and enthusiasm.  Here are the best of the best–the weekend events occurring in Seattle that caught our eye at Seattle Metro Used Cars.

Polish Festival Seattle: Saturday July 12; 12 PM-8 PM at the Seattle Center

Get ready for some kielbasa and polka this weekend and go to the Seattle Center.  It is time for Polish Festival 2014.  With demonstrations ranging from Pisanki (Easter Egg Decorating) to Wycinaki (Polish Cutout Art) there are multiple ways to immerse yourself in the arts and crafts of Poland.  Traditional Polish dance and music performances will take place as well.  There will also be an obligatory beer garden serving the finest in Polish beer and Pacific Northwest wines that will help wash down the Pierogies and Kielbasa.  No need to be Polish to join in–just a desire to have a great time.

Bastille Bash 2014: Saturday July 12; 3 PM-8 PM located between E. Madison St from 27th and 30th Ave down to 29th in the Madison Valley Neighborhood

For all you Francophiles out there.  Celebrate French culture, cuisine,and customs this Saturday with a Bastille Day celebration.  Bastille Day commemorates the beginnings of the French Revolution which started with the Storming of Bastille on July 14th, 1789.  French music, burlesque dancers, mimes, troubadours, and street actors will be at the celebration.  And of  course, indulge in French food from some of the city’s greatest restaurants.

Phinney Ditch Block Party: Saturday July 12; Starting at 4 PM at 6226 6th Ave

As if there was not enough of a party vibe this Saturday, drive on over to Phinney Ditch Block Party which is this weekend as well.  Featuring music, beer, bounce houses, food, along with unique events such as spam carving, dodge ball, and cream pie jousting, this is another event that is sure to provide fun for the entire family.
