This weekend in Seattle is absolutely stuffed with fantastic events—as is most every weekend in our fair city.  We at Seattle Metro Used Cars feel like it is not only our duty to provide you with high-quality pre-owned luxury imports and outstanding used domestic vehicles, but we also owe it to you to scout out the most prime activities taking place in and around town.  Let’s take a look at some of the most promising happenings occurring in the Emerald City.  Weekend events around Seattle for August 8-10 2014 include:

Succulent servings at the S-EAT-tle Street Food Festival: Friday and Saturday, August 8-9, Cal Anderson Park, 1635 11th Ave

Enjoy the flavor of Seattle with culinary concoctions at Cal Anderson Park this weekend.  Food booths, carts, and trucks plus a beer and beverage garden will be available for you so you can mow down on your favorite munchies–or discover a new delicacy.  For $25 you can receive VIP– “Very Important Foodie”– status which will allow you to jump up to the front of lines.

Cool off at the Summer Meltdown Festival: Today through Sunday, August 7-10 (Noon-Midnight Thursday, 10 AM-Midnight Friday and Saturday, 10 AM to 10 PM), Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheater, Darrington, WA

Looking to make take a drive and leave the city behind for a day or a weekend?  Head north on Interstate 5 and cut east on 530 to Darrington.  A massive music fest is taking place this weekend featuring the likes of Allen Stone, STRFKR, Neon Indian, Love & Light, and Motopony plus dozens of others.  Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.  Enjoy the last few weeks of summer by being in the great outdoors and seeing outstanding performances.

Take the Kids to the Kirkland SummerFest: Friday(5 PM-11 PM), Saturday (11 AM-11PM), Sunday (11 AM-6 PM), August 8-10, Downtown Kirkland and Marina Park and 25 Lake Shore Plaza, Kirkland
