Another week is nearing its conclusion.  We know, we know–you have been dreaming of the weekend since 10:30 this Monday morning.  Somehow you were able to navigate the ocean of minutes and work that separated you from the oasis-like two day respite known as Saturday and Sunday.  Now that glorious 48 hour window is growing larger on the horizon.  What are you going to do with yourself?  Here are some weekend events happening in Seattle WA for you to enjoy.

Seattle Pinball Rally: July 19 from 12 PM to 8 PM

Ready to set the high score and set the record straight on who is the best pinball player amongst you and your friends?  Head over to Hilliard’s Tap Room to show off your pinball prowess and to drink some of fine ales.  The Crow Quill Night Owls will also be performing ragtime, blues, and jazz at 7 PM.  Nudge, bump, and flip your way through this Saturday at Hilliard’s on 1550 NW 49th St.

West Seattle Outdoor Movies: July 19 at dusk

After day of pinball dominance, bask in your victory by taking in a movie in the great outdoors.  Drive over to 4410 California Ave SW for a flick that is sure to be a hit.  This week, see Sandra Bullock and George Clooney get lost in space after their shuttle has an accident in Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity (it cleaned up on Oscar night, taking home seven golden statues).  Gates open at 6:30 PM.  get there early and get a prime spot for a the show.

West Seattle Garden Tour: July 20 from 9 AM to 5 PM

Come take in some of the city’s most gorgeous gardens.  This is the tour’s 20th year.  Complete with a raffle and a lunch lecture, this is sure to be a great way to spend some family time on a Sunday.  Proceeds go to community gardens, and nonprofits that encourage horticulture, educations, and the arts.  Check out the tour’s website here for locations where you can pick up a ticketbook which has all the garden locations so you can drive to see all of the beauty.
