After a huge natural disaster like Hurricane Harvey, many companies large and small pitch in to help communities get back on their feet. Some of the largest companies in the nation are in the auto industry, and these businesses and brands are also chipping in to help Houston recover from the extensive flooding and damage left in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. What car companies are supporting Hurricane Harvey relief? Most companies with a large presence in the USA are chipping in to help Houston.

Toyota pledges $3 million in support

One of the auto makers offering the most support is Toyota. Working with Toyota Financial and other Toyota partners, this brand has pledged $3 million to help Houstonians survive and thrive after this natural disaster. Those who have suffered from Hurricane Harvey (and, we believe, the other hurricanes Irma and Maria) may be able to get payment relief or extensions on their lease and financing costs for a Toyota vehicle. Toyota offers premium dependability, and we are pleased to have a large selection of used Toyota models in our inventory.

Ford hits $3.5 million in relief

Ford Motor Company and Ford dealers across the nation are also contributing heavily to those who need help after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. In addition to funds raised, Ford is offering below-invoice pricing for those who need a new vehicle because of the flooding. Vehicle owners can also get deferred payments and other incentives. We believe that these offers are for Harvey and Irma victims, with other support available for those hit by Hurricane Maria in the Caribbean and Puerto Rico.
