2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA Release Date
The 2018 GLA made its debut in early January 2017 in Detroit. Luxury shoppers will be able to see this sleek, refreshed model in showrooms across the United States later this summer. This vehicle will continue to offer the premium comfort and convenience you can expect from a Mercedes-Benz SUV.
2018 GLA Powertrain
The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 will come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that will be able to deliver 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz estimates that this SUV will be able to burn from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.2 seconds when equipped with front-wheel drive, and have a top (electronically limited) speed of 130 mph. The elite 4MATIC® All-Wheel Drive* system is also available to offer even more traction and handling advantages.
New GLA Features
This SUV will also be loaded with new standard and available features. Some of these include:
- HANDS-FREE ACCESS – a foot-activated opening and closing trunk (optional)
- New gauge display with red needles
- Unique wheel design
- 360-degree camera – available with up to seven different split-screen views, including an available overhead view
