LEGO and the Chicago Auto Show: The Best of All Worlds!

There were hundreds, if not thousands, of vehicles at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show this week designed to capture the hearts and minds of drivers and passengers. But there were some models that were aiming at a younger crowd. Both Chevrolet and Volkswagen had displays of LEGO vehicles. From the new LEGO Batmobile from Chevrolet, to Volkswagen’s retrospective history in bricks, these LEGO displays at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show brought smiles to many faces. This full-size LEGO extravaganza looked like it was almost ready to drive away. Made from more than 340,000 pieces and 17 feet long, this model was definitely designed to impress.

The Volkswagen Journey – in LEGO bricks at CAS 2017

VW went a different direction with their LEGO display. This one shows the evolution of the Volkswagen design through the years. It has more than 20,000 bricks and is two feet tall.
