2016 Nissan Rogue vs 2016 Nissan Murano vs 2016 Nissan Pathfinder

2016 Nissan Rogue

You definitely know the Rogue if you’ve been around these parts, likely because it has been the highest selling SUV or CUV in our lineup for several years running. Crossover lovers revere this model because it truly checks all of the boxes that the segment requires — great fuel economy, outstanding interior versatility, low sticker price — and it looks terrific doing it.

Core Demographic: The Rogue is certainly for everyone, but it really strikes a chord with young families, especially ones that are still growing or do a lot of commuting/dropping off. It might seem reductive to call it the grocery-getter of the 21st Century, but it might be apt.

2016 Nissan Murano

The Murano gets all sorts of love at Avondale Nissan and beyond due to its dynamic new design and refined interior design, but it still beats with the heart of a performer. The 3.5L V6 delivers 260 hp, while its two rows of seating ensure that all five occupants are always comfortable. It’s classy, composed, and extremely attractive.

Core Demographic: The Murano is the lone model represented here that doesn’t offer three rows of seating, and that’s for a reason. Murano drivers are concerned with comfort first and foremost, so this model often beckons to drivers with adult children or professionals who enjoy the finer things in life.

2016 Nissan Pathfinder

The Pathfinder acts as a bit of a middle ground between the two models mentioned already. It offers the most interior volume of the three, along with the three rows of seating. Yet, it still delivers much of the sophistication found in the Murano, and offers a 5,000-pound towing capacity to boot.

Core Demographic: Are you planning on taking a vacation? Thinking about bringing the whole family, and maybe even a couple of your kids’ friends? Going to pull a boat? The Pathfinder is the most versatile model of the three, blending power and efficiency in a package that offers a welcoming interior cabin to boot.

So which of the three is best for you? Each offers a different palate outstanding features, and caters to a different buyer. We hope that these brief overviews help to make your purchasing decision easier, and that you’ll visit us soon at Avondale Nissan!
