Today, we’re here to discuss the popular, but sometimes forgotten NISMO lineup, and its recent arrival on the legendary Sentra nameplate. Either it seems like something that might be a stylistic choice that just became commonplace (think window tint or ground effects) or perhaps it’s something mechanical that is phased out over time (think carburetors). To people who grew up in this generation, the name “Nissan” generally evokes words like “reliable,” “efficient,” and “stylish.” For those of my father’s generation, however, the conversation begins and ends with “Z-Car.” For forty-five years, the Nissan Z-Series has occupied rare air in the sports car community, enough to warrant the honor of being the best-selling series of sports cars of all time. And that tradition continues today, with the recent unveiling of the 2015 370Z NISMO, which arrived to great fanfare at the ZDAYZ Festival in North Carolina. (more…)
