The IDS concept brings us all closer to producing zero emissions, as well as zero traffic accidents.

Awe-Inspiring Style

A sleek design makes the IDS concept lightweight and aerodynamic to increase the driving range of its 60 kWh battery. The low stance it has will minimize any drag while the very thin and low rolling resistance tires improve air flow while maximizing interior space. You are sure command all the attention as you drive down the street in the IDS concept. It’s vibrant colors will catch every eye while its stylish frame will leave others in awe.

Transforming the Way You Drive

When choosing Piloted Drive on the IDS, your steering wheel will disappear into the instrument panel while your seats rotate slightly inwards. Your IDS will then display route updates, your appointments, and even your favorite music and apps. The IDS doesn’t just get you from point A to point B, it has the capability to mimic your personal driving style making it feel like you’re still behind the wheel as you’re turned and facing the living-room style interior. When in Manual Drive, your steering wheel will reappear as the seats rotate back to their original positions, putting you back in control. The interior lighting of the IDS will also change to blue in order to stimulate your concentration.

Constant Communication

The IDS concept doesn’t just communicate with those sitting inside of the car. LED lines along the exterior of the IDS will shine to bring itself to the attention of any pedestrians or cyclists sharing the road with you. The IDS concept can also display messages relaying your intentions to other drivers. A display saying “After You” will let another driver know they can go during those awkward situations when you both arrive at a 4-way stop at the same time.
