Nissan Titan Wounded Warrior Project

On the heels of Veteran’s Day, we at Avondale Nissan have something pretty cool to show you. It’s a group effort between Nissan Titan and the Wounded Warrior Project to deliver an Alaskan off-road adventure to some of our military heroes, and the video can be viewed below. But here are a few of the details of what we know about this outstanding venture, known as “Project Titan.”

Set up as a crowdsourced project, Nissan let fans vote on ten areas where they would customize a 2014 Nissan Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X. And, after tabulating the votes, Nissan got to work. They wrapped the truck in a digital camouflage wrap to lend it a bit of military muscle, projecting a Wounded Warrior Project emblem on it and making an all-terrain camping trailer to match. They also added LED floodlights on a roof-rack, and fitted a NISMO cold-air intake and Borla cat-back exhaust to the Titan’s 5.6L V8 engine. Finally, they upgraded the suspension and placed 35-inch Nitto offroad tires before ugrading the GPS and interior upholstery as well.

Once all the new upgrades were complete, they put the custom 2014 Nissan Titan in the hands of retired vets David Guzman and Kevin McMahon, who then took various veterans on Alaskan adventures, the awe-inspiring results of which can be viewed below.

It’s a powerful video, and a very deserving cause. To learn more about the Wounded Warrior Project or to donate, visit here.
