What’s your favorite Melissa McCarthy performance? As the lovable cook Sookie in “Gilmore Girls”? As Susan Cooper in “Spy”? Maybe you’ve heard of a little movie called “Ghostbusters” which rocketed out of the screen last summer and into our hearts, and which McCarthy starred in?
Whatever you’ve seen her in, you won’t soon forget, because she is funny – memorably so. We anticipate that same great blend of audacity and humor in the series of Kia commercials for the first-ever 2017 Kia Niro hybrid, including an upcoming Super Bowl ad, that McCarthy will be featured in. We have the video for the first two ads, “Needs & Wants” and “Many Names,” with the major Super Bowl ad upcoming for a wide release during the game on Feb. 5, 2017.

The 2017 Kia Niro is set to hit lots like ours in Racine WI in the spring of 2017, and this release is notable for many things. We’ll recap a few below.

The tagline for the Niro ads is, “A Smarter Kind of Crossover,” and you’ll surely be smart if you purchase the crossover that has 50 combined mpg in its base trim level, and more than 40 mpg in all trim levels. Here’s the two ads we have so far before the Super Bowl ad premieres:
“Many Names”:
Many names would be appropriate for the 2017 Niro, such as “eco-friendly” or “fuel-saving” or “tech-savvy” but only one suits this revolutionary hybrid.
“Needs & Wants”:
