Top Six Thanksgiving Movies Charlie Brown and You’ve Got Mail

While Christmas is a major holiday and one that comes with a deserved buzz every year, thanks in part to the gift shopping that comes with it, Thanksgiving is tremendous holiday in its own right. While other federal holidays also serve wonderful purposes, such as honoring veterans or the great achievements and great people in American history, Thanksgiving comes at a time of the year when NFL football is in full swing, and NBA hoops and college football, among other sports, are also competing for eyeballs.

While we’re big fans of the annual football feast that you can enjoy on Thanksgiving, with games set for 2017 that include the New York Giants vs. Washington, Detroit vs. Minnesota, and Dallas vs. Los Angeles, not everyone wants to watch the pigskin flung across the gridiron for three-plus hours. Which is why we have compiled a handy list of great Thanksgiving movies you can play back-to-back, or spread out over the holiday season. Stay tuned for our list of the top six Thanksgiving movies, below!

Is it Too Early to Declare Giannis of the Bucks NBA MVP?

2017-18 Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo NBA MVP Odds

The Milwaukee Bucks are a team on the move. And while there have been a number of seasons in the past (like 2000-2001 and the early 1970s, for example) where other NBA teams “Feared the Deer,” the Bucks have largely flown under the radar the past several seasons.

That is changing before our very eyes with the 2017-18 Milwaukee Bucks squad, which is loaded with young talent like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon, to go along with wise vets like Greg Monroe, Matthew Dellavedova, Khris Middleton, and others! Plus, in other good news, even the classic colors of the “MECCA Floor” from the 1970s and 1980s Bucks era got to reappear at a recent game vs. the Celtics at UW-Milwaukee!

While it’s very early in the NBA season, with less than 10 percent of Milwaukee’s games played up to this point at the start of November, we’re seeing a nice uptick in play from the star of the Bucks, Antetokounmpo, and the buzz about him perhaps being the league MVP next spring is quite real. See what his numbers are, and some other things to look forward to with the 2017-18 Bucks!

2018 Kia Rio Ad Shows Small Rides Loom Large

2018 Kia Rio Commercial by Julian Smith “Small Can Do Big” Campaign

The NBA is filled with athletes who are literally larger than life, with many stars measuring well over six feet tall, and some taller than seven feet. It’s an action-packed league with players who have personalities as effervescent as their games, like LeBron James and Stephen Curry, to name a few stars, and the NBA began regular-season play on October 17, 2017.

You might think that the 2018 Kia Rio, a redesigned subcompact, wouldn’t be able to measure up to all of this excitement, but Kia knows better, as a commercial with the 2018 Rio debuted right along with the NBA season and its LeBron-themed action. The ad, “2018 Kia Rio: The Small Car That Can Do Big Things,” showcases how even something small in size can produce epic results in a hurry. For additional evidence, check out the game of Isaiah Thomas, the five-foot-nine dynamo who averaged 28.9 points per game last season for the Boston Celtics, and who will team up with LeBron in a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey in the 2017-18 season.
