The arrival of the long-awaited 2017 Kia Rio is almost upon us. Kia’s popular entry into the subcompact class, which comes as either a 4-door sedan or a 5-door hatchback, has grown up a lot since first bursting onto the scene back in 2000. And while not a lot of details are currently known about the 2017 Rio, all signs point to that growth continuing with a slight exterior redesign for the new Rio making it slightly wider and lower than the 2016 Kia Rio.
