Top Six Best-Selling Kia Vehicles for September 2017 and Year to Date
The 2017 Kia Forte is hotter than lava right now, thanks to a new S trim, plenty of power for a compact car with up to 164 HP, and a new design, as well as a nice price. This quality is reflected in the best-ever sales for a September for the Forte model last month.
The month also saw nice upticks for other Kia models; Kia as a brand just completed its best-ever September for sales. We will show you not only the top-selling models for September 2017, including the Forte, but the top six best-selling Kia models for 2017 year-to-date.

Overall sales were 52,468 for September, up nearly 7 percent compared to September 2016. The top models:
- Kia Forte compact: 10,631 sold
- Kia Soul crossover: 10,499 sold
- Kia Optima midsize sedan: 9,982 sold
- Kia Sorento midsize SUV: 8,389 sold
- Kia Sportage small SUV: 6,002 sold
- Kia Niro hybrid crossover: 2,554 sold

This list mirrors the September sales, which makes sense – there is a lot of heat for the first-ever 2017 Kia Niro hybrid crossover, and the redesigned 2017 Kia Sportage crossover and 2017 Kia Forte compact, for starters.
