The 2017 Kia Forte was a model redesign that saw the exterior draw upon the style of the award-winning Kia Optima midsize sedan, and which also saw a new sporty S trim grade, among its many enhancements! All of the engineering and tech that were poured into the 2017 Forte have helped make the Forte nameplate the best-selling among Kia models the first three quarters of 2017, with no end to the love in sight.

Features and Benefits of the 2018 Kia Forte
The 2018 Kia Forte is a carryover model from 2017, but that is great news, as the 2017 Forte was named an IIHS top Safety Pick and was the top-ranked compact car in initial quality in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study.
Select Specs of the 2018 Forte:
- $16,700 starting MSRP (only $100 more than for 2017 model).
- 32 combined MPG (29 city, 37 highway).
- Three trim levels: LX, S, and EX.
- Nine exterior color options, including Currant Red, Phantom Gray and Deep Sea Blue.
- Base HP is 147, and top HP is 164.
- Available Autonomous Emergency Braking.
- Available heated, ventilated front seats.
Some New Features for the 2018 Forte
- More tech available for the base LX trim: UVO eServices, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for compatible smartphones.
- These safety features are now standard for the top EX trim: Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
- An extra design flourish: Body-color door handles with chrome accent, optional for the S trim and standard for the EX trim.
