The 2017 Kia Cadenza is bursting into the auto world with a new sporty look at the New York International Auto Show. Wider and lower than the outgoing 2016 Cadenza, the second generation model is now more athletic and aesthetically appealing. The new 2017 Kia Cadneza release brings to drivers more innovative technologies than ever before.

Designed around the philosophy of Kia’s Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer, the 2017 Cadenza is all about “the simplicity of the straight line.” With the 2017 model you won’t find any crazy contours that seem to have no purpose; you will find a singular clean line that extends the length of the car for a modern, sporty silhouette.

Accenting the sleek lines of the lightweight body are newly designed Z-shaped LED headlights and taillights in addition to the new front fascia. While the 2017 Cadenza is fitted with Kia’s tiger nose shaped grille, the feature has been enhanced to have a more hexagonal frame that encompasses one of two grille patterns. On the lower trim a “Diamond Butterfly” pattern will be featured, the upper trims incorporating an “Intaglio” design pattern.

Sports Car Features of the 2017 Cadenza

The sporty enhancements made to the body of the all-new Cadenza extend to its interior and technologies. Sliding behind the wheel, you will think you just got into a Camaro or Mustang rather than a full-size sedan, with a lowered driver seat and well-appointed cabin.

Turning the wheel, drivers will notice a more responsive steering system due to 32-bit Electronic Control Unit that replaces the outgoing model’s 16-bit processor. For increased handling, the second generation Cadenza has also been built with more than 55 percent Advanced High Strength Steel, more than twice the amount of the outgoing model, which has further increased body stiffness by 35 percent.
