Kia is always looking to improve its technology to keep its drivers and passengers safe.  At Frank Boucher of Racine, we want to keep you updated with the latest features. Check out some of the features the Kia Drive Wise has to offer.

Smart Cruise Control and warning system

This radar-based technology helps adjust distance from vehicles based on road conditions by automatically slowing or accelerating the vehicle when needed. This radar system works hand in hand with the Forward Collision Warning System, which alerts you when your vehicle is rapidly approaching a braking or stopped vehicle.

Lane Departure Warning System

Camera-based system that watches where you are in the lane. If you are about to deviate from the lane for any reason, the system will warn you and allow you to safely correct yourself.

Side mirror safety

Blind Spot Detection & Rear Cross-traffic Alert

This radar-based detection feature will signal you when there’s an object that isn’t in your direct line of vision. It is ideal for when you are backing up and scans for when passing cars or any motor vehicle behind you. This feature is works best for those who aren’t comfortable or never know how far they should back up when parallel parking.
