What are the differences between the Kia Forte models?

When you’re looking to buy a new compact sedan, the 2016 Kia lineup has two major front runners that each have more than one model option. The Kia Rio and Kia Forte have different model choices that offer drivers different features. The Rio has the 4-door or 5-door hatchback while the Forte has a 2, 4 or 5 door model. Today we’re going to look at what the differences between the Kia Forte models are outside of the cars’ number of doors.
The Forte’s most recent model lineup consists of the 2016 Forte, 2016 Forte5 and the 2015 Forte Koup. The Forte is a 4-door compact sedan available with 15, 16, or 17-inch wheels. The 2016 Forte5 is Kia’s compact hatchback with 5-doors and a larger standard wheel of 16-inches that can be upgraded to up to 18-inches. Space For Every Style
Though there are slight differences in fuel efficiencies and engine sizes, the real difference comes down to how much space you’re looking for in your new compact. If you want a smaller compact that has a more aggressive engine, the Forte Koup is your car. It has less interior space than the other Fortes but it’s turbo engine is sure to give you’re a thrilling ride.
The 2016 Forte would be the next step up in size with a sizable interior that is spacious and comfortable. However, if you enjoy having that extra space for groceries or cargo, the hatchback Forte5 may be the more practical choice.
